The Job / Responsibilities :

Project selection, prioritisation and strategic orientation

• You will facilitate the project selection and prioritisation process by ensuring that all projects have a business case.
• Together with stakeholders, you will define and manage the operational objectives of projects that contribute to strategic business goals.
• You will stay on top of the priority project portfolio list and associated costs, keeping the budget under control.
• You will make it possible to monitor at a managerial level, ensuring control over active projects in the Credendo portfolio.

Resource and supplier management

• Together with the PMO Support team, you will manage the allocation of resources within the portfolio and identify issues with Resource Managers and Project Managers to formulate solutions together.
• You will act as a key person in contact with suppliers and consultants and oversee the administrative processes regarding contracting.

Coaching and support

• You will coach and support members of the PMO Support team in developing their responsibilities and contribute to process optimisation (e.g. onboarding, timesheet processing).
• You will act as a coach for Project Managers or take on the role yourself on very specific projects.

Reporting and performance analysis

• You will design and analyse reports on financial data, portfolio health and planning, ensuring that the portfolio dashboard is aligned with key metrics.
• You will develop and maintain performance dashboards for projects and portfolios, supporting internal clients in identifying performance indicators.

Process improvement and knowledge sharing

• You will work with the PMO Manager to develop and implement improvement plans for the PMO Department.
• You will collect and process feedback from Project Managers, Business Analysts, stakeholders and IT staff on the PM methodology, best practices regarding budgeting and the tools provided by the PMO Department.
• You will follow developments within ICT applications and update your knowledge to ensure quality and up-to-date services.

Your profile :

• You have a Master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant professional experience in portfolio management.
• You have a good command of English, both oral and written. Knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
• You are able to manage budgets and resources efficiently, with an eye for efficiency and feasibility. You keep on top of things, even in complex portfolios.
• You identify risks in a timely manner, at both operational and strategic levels.
• You dare to question and challenge teams, and to take them to the next level.
• You switch effortlessly between different levels – from key users to management – and know how to connect interests.
• You have experience in coaching and motivating people, and bringing them together.
• You think out of the box and come up with surprising, workable solutions.
• You are a strong interlocutor who inspires trust and encourages collaboration.
