The Job / Responsibilities :

Why is Employee Benefits at KPMG so rewarding?

Our clients are all about treating their employees like royalty. So they provide them with pension benefits to be attractive on the labor market. However, employee benefits require a very precise form of recognition in financial statements and an equally precise form of valuation. To perform valuation, a profound understanding of actuarial methods and drivers like mortality is needed (including possible mortality improvements or prospective tables), and you need to know what the market practices are. That's where our team of pension wizards steps in, making magic for a large panel of clients, from municipalities to corporate companies to pension funds.

Picture this: our team lives in a world where creativity meets HR genius. We offer an integrated HR solution using our market knowledge and provide an end-to-end solution. We have also developed a solid practice within the public sector (first pilar) where pension rights need to be monitored, also taking into account the specific legal environment. Over the past years a significant number of pension funds have entrusted their risk management function to us, (involving stochastic models, VaR, ALM Studies, continuity test, …) on top of the existing actuarial function.
